Key history

No retired or revoked keys have been published.

External verification references

Provenia publishes verification references through independent channels: the official public-key registry, the versioned public GitHub repository, and the permanent Zenodo archive.Verifier version: 1.0.0GitHub: release v1.0.0Zenodo: DOI 10.5281/zenodo.21877417For historical Dossiers, use the exact verifier version identified in Dossier.json rather than the latest available release.

How to compare with Dossier.json

Locate signature.public_key_fingerprint and signature.public_key_url. Confirm that the fingerprint matches this page, the URL points to the same key_id, and signature.public_key contains the same PEM key shown here.

What verification demonstrates

A valid signature demonstrates a mathematical correspondence between signed content and the key. It does not independently prove absolute authorship or when the content existed.

Active and retired

An active key is approved for new signatures. A retired key no longer signs new Dossiers but remains published for historical verification.

Revoked

Revoked indicates a loss of institutional trust from the revocation point. The key remains available for analysis and historical verification.
